WELCOME TO TELLURIDE AIRPORT (TEX)
Telluride Regional Airport sits atop Deep Creek Mesa and is North America's highest commercial airport. At 9,078 feet above sea level, the airport offers picturesque views of the San Juan mountains. And now - getting to Telluride has never been easier.

THE TELLURIDE AIRPORT WILL BE OPEN WHILE THE RUNWAY IS BEING IMPROVED
While scheduled air service and general aviation flights are on hold during runway construction, Telluride Regional Airport is open for business.
Yes, you can get there from here … and here from there!
The runway will be closed from April 7 to November 2, 2009. Ground transportation and helicopter service will remain available. When the
runway reopens, our safe airport will be even safer plus passengers and pilots will have a smoother and flatter surface. There will still be
some work around the airport through December 2010, however the airport will not be closed. By late Fall 2010, some larger aircraft with greater
passenger capacities, such as the Bombardier Q400, will be able to service the Telluride airport.
Getting to and from Telluride will be even easier once the runway and airport modernization are completed. In the meantime, enjoy the beauty
of southwestern Colorado as you use some of the transportation options that are available over the summer and fall. For more information, visit
